·         Bill Payments: When you pay for airtime, data, or house bills through the app.

·         Marketplace Sales: Things wey people or companies sell for inside the app.

·         Virtual Stuff: Small-small things wey you buy online (like badges or stickers).

If you get problem with another company wey we just use to connect (like if the bank payment network jam up), that one no dey under our control.

 

2. When You Fit Collect Your Money Back

You fit collect your money back if any of these things happen, as the law talk:

·         You Pay, But You No Get Wetin You Pay For: Like if you pay for Pro Package and e no show up, or you pay bill and e no enter.

·         The Thing No Good: If the thing you pay for get fault or e no work the way e suppose (e.g., app stop you from paying bill).

·         Dem Carry Your Money Too Much: If dem mistakenly charge you double (like say dem remove airtime money two times).

·         Fraud: If dem carry your money for your account without you knowing (we go check am well-well first).

·         By Law: If the service get fault or dem tell you say dem go give you discount and dem no give you.

But you no fit collect your money back if:

·         You Just Change Your Mind: Except if the law say make we give you small time (like 7 days to cancel subscription).

·         Na Other People Cause Am: Like if the bank system break down, or the network company dey slow to send your data. We go still help you talk to dem, sha.

·         Na Your Mistake: If you put wrong number for airtime or you use the features anyhow.

·         Virtual Stuff: If you don use the digital thing finish, no refund, except if the thing get fault.

 

3. How To Ask For Your Money Back

1.     Send Message: Send message to our support people within 7 days of the problem. Use this email: support@howfarapp.ng or the message box for inside the app. Tell us your account name, the code for the payment, and why you want your money back.

2.     We Go Check Am: We go look through your request within 5 working days to see if e follow the law (FCCPA).

3.     Money Go Enter: If we approve am, we go process the refund within 7 working days back to the same place wey the money come from (your bank or card).

We fit tell you say make we just add credit for your HowFarApp account instead, but if you qualify under the law, you fit tell us say na cash you want.

 

4. Special Gist For Different Things

·         Pro Package Subscriptions:

o    If e no work or e get fault, you fit get refund within 7 days of buying am.

o    If you cancel after the first 7 days, we fit refund part of the money wey remain, but dem go remove small money for fees.

·         Bill Payments:

o    If the payment fail or e enter wrongly (e.g., airtime no enter), you go get refund once the payment company confirm am.

o    If the payment enter fine and correct, no refund.

·         Marketplace Sales:

o    If the thing you buy no reach you or e get fault, the person wey sell am suppose to handle your refund based on their own rules. HowFarApp go help make una settle am.

·         Virtual Stuff:

o    Only refund if the thing get fault (e.g., the badge no show for your profile) within 7 days.

o    If you don use am, no refund.

 

5. Your Rights as Consumer (Under FCCPA)

The law (FCCPA 2018) say you get right to:

·         Collect services wey safe, good quality, and fit for the reason wey dem sell am.

·         Ask for your money back if the service get fault or e no reach you.

·         Make dem no use bad rules on top you (like say dem just talk say no refund at all).

We no go try to stop you from using these rights. If our mistake cause you problem, we go follow FCCPA and pay you for the money wey you lose directly.

 

6. If Problem Happen

If you no happy with our decision on top your refund, send us email at support@howfarapp.ng make we carry the matter go up. If we still no fit settle am, you fit carry the matter go arbitration in Abuja or go meet the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).

 

7. If We Change This Gist

We fit change this policy if our app change or if the law change. We go tell you through email or inside the app at least 7 days before the change start. If you continue to use the app, e mean say you gree with the new gist.
